I'm a SWE at Google on the Google Maps Mobile team. I helped launch the first LLM-powered features, cross-platform, in Google Maps to enhance place exploration and discovery. As a full-stack engineer on the project, I led rapid prototyping efforts, client-side development, and experimentation. I work closely with PM, UX, and other engineers throughout the company to bring the product to life.
Building on my ML foundation, I'm pursuing a shift back to research. I analyzed the political Twitter sphere and wrote my undergraduate thesis investigating the effects of misinformation on the 2020 presidential election. This interest in information spread and societal impacts has continued to drive my research. My interest extends to the societal impacts of AI. Human connection remains at the core of my motivation, and I seek to contribute to projects that thoughtfully consider the intersection of technology and society.
I love taking on challenges as well as reading, baking, playing board games, running, hiking, and high jumping. I'm also an avid Seahawks fan and enjoy playing fantasy football.
I am eager to continue learning and growing and look forward to new experiences.
